The Assembly of Lebanese Muslim scholars congratulated the leadership of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the armed forces and the people of Iran for the unprecedented attack on the bases of the Zionist regime.

Hawzah News Agency- The Assembly of Lebanese Muslim scholars congratulated the unique and unprecedented attack on the military bases of the Zionist regime in response to the brutal attack of the Zionists on the Iranian consulate in Syrian capital of Damascus under the leadership of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Imam Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the commander of the armed forces and the Iranian nation.

This Assembly stated, “Many people and even cowards and mercenaries emphasized that it will never happen, because they don't know who this divine and inspiring leader of Iran is.”

The Assembly of Lebanese Muslim scholars further noted that what Iran did is a legitimate right based on international law that protect countries from attacking them, and self-defense does not require permission from anyone.

The Assembly of Lebanese Muslim scholars stated,” Iran has been waiting for a long time for the global arrogance and the Security Council to condemn the open attack on its consulate in Damascus; if this aggression took place against the Zionist regime or its allies, the world would have heavily condemned it. But when it’s against Iran or a Muslim nation, they remained silent and showed no reactions, today the Global arrogance is trying to convene the Security Council to condemn Iran for its legitimate right to defend itself.”

In response to the Israeli terrorist attack on Iran's consulate building in Syria on April 1, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps attacked targets in occupied Palestine with dozens of drones and missiles early on Sunday.

The Israeli regime attacked Iran's consulate in the Syrian capital of Damascus on April 1. The Israeli aggression led to the destruction of the entire building and the martyrdom and injury of the entire people inside it.

Seven of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) military advisors were martyred following the Israeli attack on Iran's consulate in Damascus.
